OUR PROCESS

We utilize the best product and procedure in the industry. Our top of the line products has been tested and proven not to fail under some of the worst conditions. The materials we use are available only to professionals and cannot be purchased in stores like some of those other DIY kits. The products we use are among the best in the industry, but even with good products if any steps during the refinishing process is overlooked the end result will be negative. We pride ourselves with doing a detailed job and providing our clients with the best results.

PREPARATION

Proper preparation is essential for a long lasting finish. We will remove any old caulking around the tub or fixture.

We always utilize high powered ventilation systems to remove fumes to the outside. We also cover the entire area with drop cloths and masking to ensure your home is protected.

If your bathtub, fiberglass unit, or fixture has been refinished in the past it will be necessary to strip off the old finish. This is done to ensure a proper bond to the surface occurs and ensures a lasting finish.

REPAIRS

If any repairs need to be made such as chips, cracks, holes, or rust we will repair them at this time. If repairs are not required then we will skip down to the next step.

If repairs are performed we take the time to ensure the finish is smooth and unnoticeable.

APPLYING THE GLAZE

We use industry leading chemicals and materials that form a bond with the original surface.

We apply all of our materials using the process known as High-Volume, Low-Pressure when spraying our coatings which gives your bathtub or fixture an even high gloss finish.

We use a durable synthetic ceramic urethane which can withstand some of the harshest conditions and still maintain its color for many years.

The materials we utilize are environmentally friendly and have less odor than some of the other traditional coatings.

FINISHING TOUCHES

Once the project is completed we begin to clean up by carefully removing all of the masking paper and drop cloths that have been placed.

New caulking is applied around any necessary fixtures.

The only thing we leave for you to do is screw the overflow plate back on and take the bag off of any faucets. Anybody can do this and there is no technical knowledge required, just screw in with a screwdriver or even a butter knife.

(YOU MUST WAIT 24 HOURS BEFORE USING THE FIXTURE!!)

During the first 24 hours you CAN NOT touch the fixture and it must remain dry. We provide a list of care instructions to ensure your bathtub lasts for many years to come.

You may notice some surface dust after the finish has cured, this is normal and will wear away after several uses. This will not be an issue if you decide to have us come back in about 1-3 weeks to perform a deep polish on the refinished fixture. This can be done every 6 months to a year to ensure a high gloss throughout the years.
